Paper and Writing Requirements

Binding and Total Page Count
A fixed binding such as sewn-and-adhesive binding must be assessed with the trim size, paper, and total page count. Handling and spine thickness should be judged from the approved physical specification or sample.
Form Artwork and Single-Color Printing
Confirm column widths, type size, safe margins at the fore edge and spine, line weight, and numbering logic. These choices affect whether dense forms remain clear and practical to complete by hand.

2. Confirm Layout and Materials

3. Review Proofs or Samples
The appropriate proofing or sampling method is evaluated for the project. Text, fields, numbering, color, and production details are checked before approval.
4. Schedule Production After Sign-off
Mass production is arranged after the customer approves the final artwork and specification. Lead time and delivery arrangements are confirmed during quotation.

Can we review a sample before mass production?
A physical sample or another approval method can be evaluated for the project. The appropriate method, cost, and timing are confirmed during quotation.
Can each notebook have a different book number?
Individual numbering can be evaluated. Please provide the numbering rule, data format, and placement so the suitable production method can be confirmed.
Can the interior fields follow our own workflow?
The table of contents, project, date, recorder, page number, and review fields can be evaluated for customization. Final content follows the artwork approved by the customer.
Is 160 pages a fixed specification?
No. It is the reference configuration described here. Other page counts must be evaluated with the paper, binding, layout and intended use.
